You’re invited to the fifth annual Creek Week. Join them as they take a closer look “Into the Waters”. This will be a week full of volunteer activities, educational programs, and other events hosted by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services and their partners. These events will seek to help care for and learn more about our waterways. Check out the schedule below to get involved.

The Drop is making its triumphant return. The Drop is a new quarterly cultural meet-up produced by Charlotte Is Creative, featuring the revelation of a new mural, a conversation with the artists and meeting new Queen City creatives to collaborate with. They are excited to feature the amazing mural work of Namaste Artists Charlotte, led by Shefalee Patel, this quarter. This event will also mark the official release of The Drop beer, featuring this series’ inaugural mural by #BeattiesFordStrong artists on the label.

Join Charlotte Speech and Hearing Center for their 4th annual Communication Counts 5k race and Kids Dash. All 5k racers will receive a t-shirt and medal. This event will raise critical funds that provide access to speech-language and hearing services that empower and transform lives.

Join volunteers as they help keep Charlotte beautiful at the Rail Trail Cleanups, sponsored by U.S. Bank and hosted by South End Social. Stroll the Rail Trail picking up litter, and enjoy raffles, swag, and a free drink at the volunteer appreciation event. RSVP for a spot in the March, April, and May cleanups.

Support a child in CMS with 1 hr/week for the next 10 weeks. Heart Math Tutoring needs volunteers to work one-on-one with students who need foundational skills and confidence. Heart provides an on-site coordinator and game-based curriculum. Complete orientation by February 22nd and be paired with a student.

Grab those capes, tie up those laces, and get ready to take big steps for small heroes at 24 Foundation’s inaugural Superhero Stomp 5K, 10K, Kids Fun Run and Walk. Participants of all ages are welcome. Sign up as an individual or create a team.

Join Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Charlotte for their annual Wear Day. Purchase a bundle for just $35 which includes a RMHC “Home Team” t-shirt and a ticket to the Charlotte Knights baseball game. Your support will help provide the comforts of home to families of sick or injured children needing assistance from RMHC programming.

The Davidson Home & Village Tour is an opportunity to explore the heart of Davidson by touring the inside of hand-picked Davidson homes and village sites. Experience a range of diverse architectural styles, inspiring interior design, historical significance, local art displays, and more. The Davidson Home and Village Tour is a fundraiser for Davidson Cornelius Child Development Center (DCCDC).
