Triple shot of espresso please.
Rush Espresso is opening its third location. Port City Java’s closing on July 28th will usher in the replacement coffee shop underneath Hearst Tower.
The cafe will have a new name: Piccadilly by Rush Espresso. Management will not shift from husband-and-wife duo Jenny and Paul McConachy. They are looking to open on September 1st.
The menu will mirror the Ballantyne location, which doubles as a wine bar and stays open until 12 a.m.
Not only do they serve coffee and cocktails; made from scratch breakfast, lunch, and dinner selections are also offered.
The sleek coffee chain proudly incorporates its Australian roots, roasting Australian coffee beans, serving Australian meat pies and “Sydney” Paninis.
Piccadilly intends to aid both your morning coffee fix and after-work drinks with your mates.

Rush Espresso’s Brevard Court location
The Ballantyne location has been extremely supportive of local artists and musicians in the past, hosting open mics and stacked lineups. Hearst Plaza has exceptional potential for live music.
Customers will have the option to grab and go, study up or lounge for a while in the ample outdoor seating.
With the fall opening nearing, can’t you already visualize ordering a pumpkin spice latte?
