Big Air Trampoline will open its first Charlotte location on Sardis Road North on August 19.
The 37,000-square-foot space, the largest that the company has seen, calls Crown Point Plaza home. This is the same shopping center, just off of East Independence Boulevard, that houses Burlington Coat Factory, Value City Furniture and Buffalo Wild Wings.
The park will come complete with basketball hoops, dodgeball, foam pits, a rock climbing wall in the shape of a Rubik’s Cube, a laser maze, Ninja Warrior course and rooms that, when combined, can hold up to 300 people for birthday parties and corporate events.
Once waivers have beens signed, jumpers of all ages are welcome in the park, and those six and under have dedicated jump spaces and times so parents can relax without worry that they’ll get caught underfoot of the bigger kids. Waivers are good for a year – see the full rules on the website.
Speaking of relaxed parents, a mezzanine sits comfortably in the middle of the park with a 360-degree view, a snack bar and massage chairs.
The first hour of jumping is just $15 per jumper, and each additional hour will run $7. There will be daily specials, including Mega Jump (3 hours for $20 on Monday) and Family Fun (four hour-long jump passes, large pizza and soda for $50 on Thursday and Sunday).
Construction is almost at a finishing point, with trampolines having been laid, space for foam pits having been laid out and a Ninja Warrior-like course having been set up.
