Overview:
The Husqvarna Business Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Husqvarna NA organization in its day-to-day business operations. The Business Coordinator improves sales and profitability by creating efficient processes, improving communication, developing tools and managing costs. The position will work across departments and with external vendors on communications and various projects, events and contracts. This role serves as a conduit through which information flows cross-functionally and therefore supports the overall business of the sales channels and division.

This position can serve as an entry level into dealer channel field sales. Through a comprehensive understanding of internal operations, coupled with field travel and vacant territory coverage, candidates will be relocated within the United States within two to three years of proven performance. Candidate must be willing to relocate.

Essential duties:
• Coordinate cross functionally between the sales channels and the organization to improve efficiencies and develop processes that may or may not currently exist. Through experience with various organization activities, the role will be in key position to improve communication across division and various processes that include multiple departments. Position will require ability to pinpoint opportunities across business functions and interconnectivity of those groups.
• Provide support and guide decisions to multiple levels of the Husqvarna division and US sales department including planning of events, meetings and overall office administration. This will include support and assistance to the General Manager, Husqvarna Brand Division and multiple Sales Director and Field Managers. Position will manage multiple priorities independently as well as manage projects that often time requires dependencies and follow up with other departments.
• Manage the company fleet vehicle program, including fleet vendor selections, equipment , contract reviews, compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, ownership and control of GPS administration, responding to vehicle issues/emergencies after hours, and cooridation of company pool vehicles. An ability to understand contract negotiation and vendor management is key as the primary vehicle liaison for the NA Husqvarna division.
• Coordinate and enhance the new hire and separation process, from system and asset set-up of the US Sales team. Training of new sales representatives will be required once program knowledge is mastered. Ability to work cross functionally with Legal, HR and IT groups is expected for an improved new hire experience.
• Interface with all inside and outside sales personnel on a regular basis in order to meet sales objectives. React and respond to field sales questions and issues. Manage the new dealer process for the US dealer channel which requires an ability to understand and use discretion in complex situations.
• Determine need to collect, analyse and report/present data on various sales initiatives and other department cost and activity metrics. Responsible for approving division invoices, reviewing methods to reduce SG&A and reporting financial updates for the NA Husqvarna division.
• Create and administer policy enforcement to include, but not limited to: MAPP, Internet and Export Policies for the NA Husqvarna division. Managing relationships with vendors, Legal and HR groups, and global counterparts will assist with improving controls and maintaining division and brand integrity.
• Update and maintain the division Sales Policy Handbook. Ensure procedures are in place for compliance by sales personnel. Work with Human Resources and Legal groups on policy updates, communication and adherence by division associates.
• Travel and coverage of vacant territories as needed once sales knowledge is achieved. Attend trade events and training where applicable.

Qualifications (education and experience):
Required
• Bachelors Degree.
• 2 years of experience within corporate setting.
• Desire to move into sales profession.
• Relocation after 24-36 months within the U.S, as determined.
Desired
• Fleet management experience.
• Project Management experience.
