Yes, it’s possible to support Charlotte organizations making a difference, right from your desktop or phone, in less time than it takes to order yet another thing you probably don’t need for yourself.
For many Charlotte-area organizations, summer is the biggest time of need because people aren’t donating like they do around the holidays. SHARE Charlotte is working to remedy this and “give need a vacation” with their SummerSHARE campaign, presented by Bank of America.
They’re making it super easy to donate; just head to their online Give Shop and purchase things on the nonprofits’ wish lists — the products will be shipped directly to them. Give Shop has products nonprofits need for as little as $1 and it’s very simple to use. Plus, you can feel great about your purchase knowing exactly where your contribution is going.
Here are six of the 116 participating nonprofits, and the unexpected items you can find on their wish lists.
