Sauceman’s, a popular BBQ joint in the heart of South End, is putting the finishing touches on a large remodel.

Sauceman’s new hours are Tuesday – Sunday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. (closed Monday).

I’m not a huge table nerd, but the new wooden tables at Sauceman’s are gorgeous.
The remodel positions Sauceman’s as more of a neighborhood hangout instead of just a quick spot to eat a work lunch.

The back of Sauceman’s features a cool bar, garage doors and picnic tables. Beers from Sugar Creek, OMB, Unknown, Lenny Boy, Sycamore and Birdsong on draft.
To celebrate their grand reopening, Sauceman’s is throwing a party on Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
To celebrate, Pitmaster Cole is smoking two whole hogs. Additionally, there’ll be a low country boil and live music. Most importantly, you get a free pork sandwich with a beer purchase. No need to RSVP, but here’s the Facebook event page.
Oh, and Sauceman’s now has free pork skins…

Sauceman’s added free fried pork skins into their restaurant. They’re addicting and perfect with honey or hot sauce.
