Award-winning, Charleston-based Oak Steakhouse will open its doors in the Sharon Square shopping center this week.
Starting Wednesday, May 10, the restaurant will be open Monday through Thursday, 5 to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 5 to 11 p.m. and Sunday, 5 to 9 p.m.
Eventually, they’ll offer a Sunday brunch as well.
Construction has wrapped up and the space in the ground floor of the SunTrust building is beautiful, with high ceilings, wood accents, low lighting and a long bar area.

The menu is comprised of the standard steakhouse fare that ranges in price from $12 to $59 and cocktails that hover around the $12 mark.
Expect appetizers like carpaccio ($14), foie gras ($22) and pork ravioli ($14).
Oak’s specialties include the “Oak” Burger (a combination of New York strip, filet and brisket topped with grilled onions, tomato, bibb and fontina cheese served on a brioche bun – $19) and confit pork shoulder (corn cake, apple fennel verde and demi – $29).
The signature steaks and chops are the menu items that will really wow diners. Don’t sleep on the $59 12-ounce C.A.B. filet mignon or $25 5-ounce Carved C.A.B. tenderloin bistro with truffle frites.
Sides include whipped potatoes ($8), jalapeño cornbread ($9) and fried onions ($9).
