I know you love breakfast favorites like Toast, Sunflour, Original Pancake House and Poppy’s – but every now and then, you need to mix it up.

When the time to mix it up comes, I recommend the classy, French restaurant in SouthPark named Cafe Monte.

If it’s just you and a friend, sit at their bar.

Unlike most breakfast options, Cafe Monte doesn’t open until 9 a.m. – which I think is crazy, but I’m not in charge.

Start off with a latte.

No fancy latte art, which is slightly disappointing, 🙂

Cafe Monte isn’t cheap, but you should go big with the rich Benedict Monte.

Delicious croissant, smoked ham, two eggs, tomato, asparagus and hollandaise served with a tasty round hash brown – $14.

If you’re looking to make the perfect order at Cafe Monte, get the Benedict and substitute the hash brown for “pomme frites” aka french fries.

Then take a post-brunch nap. 🙂
