Charlotte’s spring-like weather this winter may have thrown your children’s wardrobe options for a loop.

If you need to restock on warmer-weather items, spring consignment sales are here in the nick of time.

Try one of these 16 children’s consignment sales around Charlotte to get the most bang for your buck. Check the websites for more information on hours and half-price options. Plus, if you’re interested in being a consignor, many are still accepting registrations.


University City United Methodist Church Consignment Sale

Date: March 3-4
Where: University City United Methodist Church, 3835 W WT Harris Blvd.
Tip: Thirty percent of proceeds, after expenses, go to UCUMC, Christian ministries involving women and children’s missions locally and around the world.


Weddington Kids Consignment Sale

Date: March 10-11
Where: Weddington United Methodist Church, 13901 Providence Road, Weddington.
Tip: Check out the boutique section for smocked outfits.


Tar Heel Kids Consignment

Date: March 2-4
Where: Cabarrus Arena, 4751 NC-49, Concord
Tip: Items are up to 65 percent off the evening of the sale’s final day

Tip: The best of the best brands are at this sale (no Old Navy, Kohl’s, Target, etc.)

Harrison Children’s Consignment Sale

Date: February 23-25
Where: Harrison United Methodist Church Faith Circle, 15008 Lancaster Highway, Pineville
Tip: No strollers because of limited space

PWS Children’s Consignment Sale

Dates: February 17-18
Where: First Presbyterian Church Gastonia, 1631 E. Garrison Ave., Gastonia
Tip: The twice-annual event raises money for the church’s preschool program.

Sun Valley Children’s Sale

Date: February 25
Where: Union County Agricultural Center, 3230 Presson Road #D, Monroe.
Tip: No diaper or large bags permitted, but strollers are welcome.

The Upscale WeeSale

Dates: March 8-12
Where: Shiland Village Shopping Center, 2685 Celanese Road, Rock Hill
Tip: Umbrella strollers are permitted all days, but large strollers are not on opening night and half-price sale times.

Assurance UMC Kid’s Consignment Sale

Dates: March 24-25
Where: Assurance United Methodist Church, 9700 Mount Holly-Huntersville Road
Tip: Proceeds go toward the church’s missions and ministries.

Wallace’s Wearhouse

Dates: March 4-9
Where: 1221 Jericho Lane
Tip: Consignors who refer new consignors receive a $20 shopping credit for each person. Those who refer five can shop before the sale begins.

Sardis Weekday School Children’s Consignment Sale

Date: March 18
Where: Sardis Presbyterian, 6100 Sardis Road
Tip: The sale offers a friends and family shop the night before for $5 admission.

FGBC Children’s Consignment Sale

Dates: March 17-18
Where: Flint Groves Baptist Church, 2017 East Ozark Ave., Gastonia
Tip: Consignors receive a higher percentage (80%) than most sales. The rest of the proceeds go toward mission trips.

Myers Park Presbyterian Consignment Sale

Date: March 11
Where: Myers Park Presbyterian, 2501 Oxford Place
Tip: No strollers allowed on the sales floor.

TTB Kidz

Date: February 10-12
Where: Park Expo and Conference Center, 800 Briar Creek Road
Tip: Early entry on Friday and Sunday with a $2 donation to benefit children’s cancer causes.
