Will brunch ever go out of style? Probs not. Let’s take a look at what’s hot right now.

NoDa – 3106 N. Davidson Street

Jeff Tonidandel’s (of Crepe Cellar and Growler’s Pourhouse) newest Southern spot in NoDa is making waves with their fried chicken, homemade pickles, and craft cocktails. And they just started serving brunch.

Our kale grits!! We make them w @ansonmills grits and a delicious kale purée. They’re creamy, hearty, and well, of course… great w a side of fried chicken!! 😉😋🍴#grits #southern #mysouthernliving #kale #tgif

Come in Sunday at 11:30 a.m. to enjoy their regular menu plus an extra special edition: chicken and waffles.

You can also get your hands on creative dishes such as kale grits, sweet potato dumplings, and charred okra with bacon jam.

PSA: They serve a cocktail with flowers in an ice sphere. This ain’t your average brunch.

Uptown – 101 S. Tryon Street, Ste. 14

This Passion Fruit Mimosa was everything. #daydrinking #brunch #clt #boozybrunch #mimosas #mimosa

Check out this Uptown hotspot’s brunch menu and tell me you don’t want everything on it. You can keep it real with a breakfast pizza or huevos rancheros or get real real with Korean steak and eggs or khachapuri (cheese-filled naan with a sunny-side up egg inside? Don’t mind if I do.)

Stop by Saturday or Sunday after 10:30 a.m. for pretty food and brunch cocktails (several mimosa options, Bloody Mary, Salty Dog, etc.)

Myers Park – 2820 Selwyn Avenue

I don’t think this place could ever stop being cool. Rap music, great food, coffee cups without handles (hate it or love it, whatever), and a prime little corner spot on Selwyn make it work again and again.

A #latergram because I loved this happy hash 😃 tag your favorite brunch buddy!👊🏼

People love their pork belly slab bacon and hash with sweet potatoes and sausage. I’m especially big on the BEC (bacon, egg, and white cheddar on GIANT and delicious bread) and have my eye on their burger.

You can get your brunch rollin’ REAL early at littleSpoon because unlike most brunch spots, they open at 8 a.m. (but if you’re drinking on a Sunday, you better wait a little bit.)
