Coterie — a coworking space for female entrepreneurs and creatives — has just opened up on the second floor of Packard Place.
The space operates alongside HQ Charlotte in the Third Ward building. It’s the brainchild of prominent local designer Joanna Bailey.
Part-time memberships run for $195/month and full-time memberships are $425/month.
You can read previous coverage of Coterie here and here.
The buildout isn’t quite complete.
Coterie is currently in 6,500 square feet, but has plans to renovate another 6,500 adjoining square feet. They also haven’t yet built out several meeting suites with smart walls, a developer suite and a “project suite” with equipment for crafters and builders. The space should be radically different in the next 30 days, Bailey said.
The partnerships with 2ULaundry to give all Coterie members laundry service and with Uptown Errands for concierge services will begin next week.
Here’s a look around.
Note that Coterie is one of the few Packard Place tenants with terrace space.
The arrangement at Packard Place is designed to be temporary.
In the next few years, Bailey has said Coterie will build its own coworking space in South End or Plaza Midwood.
