Connect with Culture Day will take place on January 28.

The event, coordinated by the Arts and Science Council, grants free access to cultural experiences at dozens of venues throughout Charlotte and greater Mecklenburg County.

In addition to free admission, many museums and galleries are also offering special hands-on interactive experiences.

Participants will have free access to live musical performances, dance classes, painting classes, theatre workshops, film screenings and more, many of which are kid friendly.

Events will take place at locations throughout central Charlotte, as far south as Ballantyne and as far north as Cornelius.
