Thai Taste’s dining experience is memorable and their lunch options are delicious.

Lunch specials rotate daily. The way it works is that you pick your meat – Vegetarian ($8.95), Pork, Chicken or Beef ($8.95), Combination of any of the above ($9.95) Scallops, Shrimp or Squid ($10.95) Seafood combination ($12.95). If you go squid, you’re more adventurous than me.

After you choose your meat, you then pick your type of dish.

I recommend the Pud See Ew – Fresh rice noodles stir-fried with broccoli, carrots, napa cabbage, soy sauce and egg (or no egg). Or the Pud Thai – Thai rice noodles sauteed with spices, bean sprouts, green onions, and egg (or no egg).

I’m a huge Pud Thai fanboy. So freaking tasty.

And how cool does it make you feel when they ask you for the spice level, 1-5?

If you dine in, all dishes come with soup, a spring roll, and iced tea.

The spring roll and soup taste predictable, but are fun additions to the dining experience.

The iced tea on the other hand is fantastic. I love that they leave a cute miniature iced tea pitcher on the table so that you can crush iced tea at your pace.

The cozy, yet functional vibe at Thai Taste makes it an excellent choice for lunch.

Don’t be fooled by the cozy interiors, lunch dining at Thai Tastes definitely has a Seinfeld Soup Nazi type vibe to it. There’s a regular/insider-y feel to the restaurant.

And the fact that you pay at the counter makes it a quicker dining experience – nobody likes waiting for the check at lunch.

Cheers to all the other Thai Taste lovers out there. Say hi to me, I’ll be the guy chugging iced tea while munching on the Pud Thai.
