Best Private Space Rental Option: Mezzanine Loft Area

  • What to know: It’s upstairs, overlooks the main dining area, and has a good view into the main brew house.
  • Capacity: Seats about 30 people, or holds 40 cocktail style.
  • Food: Set up a pre-order buffet from their catering menu (or schedule a meeting with the chef to create a personalized one)
  • Drink: Beer, full liquor bar, wine
  • Cost: $250 room fee + $1,000 food and beverage minimum
    • Food items priced per person
    • Drinks based off of consumption
  • Pro-Tip: If you have your event on a weekday, the total cost will drop.
  • Other Options: The Library room holds 60 people and includes a personal bar and bartender. The Canteen Taproom holds 150+ people with a personal bar/bartender, giant projector, stage, private kitchen, and bathroom.

  • What to know: Flexible space, ideal for medium sized groups. There’s a screened in porch attached for breakouts and smaller meetings.

    • Room fee: $400 for a daytime event, $600 for evening. Includes Duke Mansion’s inventory of tables, chairs, glassware, flatware and china.

    • Dinner: $65 per person minimum
  • Pro-Tip: Morning events are less expensive, and the Mansion will rent furniture for you if needed.

    • The Levine Living Room: 1,460 square feet with 14-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and a 750-square-foot glass Solarium. Ideal for breakout sessions and smaller meetings. ($1,250 evening, $800 daytime)
    • The Lineberger Library: One of the most used rooms. Intimate 350 square foot room used for private breakfasts, lunches and dinners. ($200/day)

  • What to know: It’s intimate and secluded. The Green Room is an upstairs dining room with a balcony overlooking the restaurant. It feels like a private space but you still get that 5Church ambiance. Includes a private bar, private entrance, and restroom.
  • Capacity: Seats up to 40 guests for dinner and up to 50 for a standing cocktail event.
  • Food: Preset brunch and dinner menus (limited versions of the à la carte menus)
    • Chef Jamie will accommodate if you have special requests or want something new.
    • Food package options range from $40-$75 pp
  • Drink: Beer, liquor, wine
  • Cost: No room fee, just food and drink.

  • Pro Tip: Wanna throw a day party? Brunch buffet packages are significantly cheaper and come with mimosas and Bloody Marys. Also, 5Church has a DJ on Fridays and Saturdays starting around 10.
