Living Kitchen, the popular organic, plant-based, and mostly raw restaurant in South End, is expanding into SouthPark.

The restaurant will take the space formerly occupied by Zebra in the same building as Diamond’s Direct (4521 Sharon Road).

“Late spring is the anticipated opening for our next Charlotte location in SouthPark,” said Sally Moore, Director of Marketing and Communications at Living Kitchen. “We have no other concrete plans for Charlotte locations beyond SouthPark right now, but we’re always looking.”

Inside Zebra. Construction hasn’t begun on the space yet.

The Living Kitchen in South End is always slammed and I expect the SouthPark location to be equally as popular.

I’ve had too many Living Burritos to count – just walking inside their South End restaurant makes me happier and healthier. Resident Agenda Vegan, Katie Loveluck, is obsessed with this place.

Bottom line: Their food is both delicious and healthy and the menu/atmosphere is a great match for the SouthPark neighborhood.

Founder Juliana Luna grew up in Bogota Columbia and after gaining experience in restaurant and hotel space across Europe opening Luna’s Living Kitchen in 2010.

It blew up.

Juli then joined forces with Stephen Edwards (business guy) to take Luna’s Living Kitchen (now referred to simply as Living Kitchen) to the next level.

The SouthPark restaurant will be Living Kitchen’s fourth location – they recently opened in downtown Raleigh and will open in Chapel Hill this February.
