Two developments are in the works for North Davidson Street that will add even more retail and restaurants along this booming corridor. Plans are in the very early stages.
Here’s a run-down of what’s coming. All information comes from plans filed with the city of Charlotte.
The first is at the intersection of North Davidson and 24th Street.
Developed by Lat Purser, this project is in the Optimist Park/Villa Heights neighborhood on the same strip as Amelie’s and the original NoDa Brewing location. It’ll go in two adjacent buildings on this block.
The locations fronting North Davidson will have roll-up windows to create some indoor-outdoor space. Plans call for tenants including fine dining, spirits, desserts, coffee and casual dining. Lots of patio.
The second is at North Davidson and 37th Street.
This one is on a currently vacant corner of land just north of the main NoDa commercial district. The current name for this project: NoDa Terrace.
Plans call for a mixed-use development, but no real word yet on what tenants are expected. Mixed-use generally means a combination of homes, retail and potentially office space. It’ll be two stories on the back side of the property, stepping up to four stories along North Davidson.
