A new “upscale” counter-service Italian restaurant named Fidelli Kitchen is now open in South End.
The restaurant quietly opened to the neighborhood this week and will begin to market its opening this weekend (giving it time to get operations to crowd level).
It occupies a 3,500-square-foot space along the Rail Trail at 1616 Camden Road in the newly completed 1616 Center. If you’re facing Price’s Chicken Coop, it’s the next building on the left.
Fidelli Kitchen also features a bottle shop attached to the dining area and one of those fancy wine dispensers that you can find at Whole Foods at the winestore. Expect wine tasting events in the future.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Here’s the Fidelli Kitchen menu.
Okay, let’s take a quick look around.

I loved their free fancy fruit water
