Yes, you should have bought there. By now you’re likely getting priced out. Over the past two years, the average home sale price has gone from $470,307 to $504,776 according to CarolinaMLS. And it’s just getting started.
Somehow Dilworth has managed to feel less snobby than Myers Park and Eastover. Maybe it’s the popular Moe’s or Outback Steakhouse. Maybe it’s the easy access to Freedom Park. Maybe it’s the hidden gem neighborhood vibes of Toast, Ru San’s Pio Pio, Dilworth Neighborhood Grille, Bulldog Beer & Wine and Lebowski’s.

What’s next for Dilworth?
It’ll be interesting to see what takes the spot of 101 Main and East Blvd Bar and Grill.

Dilworth is becoming Charlotte’s top neighborhood by combining the best parts of other hot hoods – Plaza Midwood’s walkability, Eastover’s beautiful homes, SouthPark’s restaurants, Myers Park’s family vibe, Elizabeth’s charm and South End’s new food/retail concepts – all within a mile or so of Uptown.
