Interval-based strength and endurance fitness program MADabolic is opening a second Charlotte location in Elizabeth today.
It’s the company’s ninth location, with a tenth opening Austin, Texas, in early 2017.
“Five years ago, this amazing city embraced a MAD idea,” CEO Brandon Cullen said. “We are very excited about the next chapter, absolutely love our community and are happy to call Charlotte home.”
You can find the newest location at 2115 East 7th Street.

Classes vary daily and are focused on the three M.A.D. principles: Momentum, anaerobic and durability.
Classes focused on momentum offer a chance to maintain an athletic pace to build intensity. In an anaerobic-centered class, participants can expect a maximum effort workout, as speed and power are the top priorities. Durability workouts are taken at a slower pace, but are made to be “mentally grueling” as they call for longer, more sustained movements.
Classes, which are capped at 20 to keep everything safe, are offered in contracts and with flex passes. By the numbers:
$10 – New client special. Includes 10 consecutive days.
$78 – $88 – 5 sessions per month
$138 – $158 – 10 sessions per month
$178 – $198 – Unlimited
$278 – $298 – Couples monthly unlimited
Flex passes are also available in packs of 1 to 100 for $25 – $1,198.
