For the third year in a row, the Panthers will be lighting a Christmas tree outside of Bank of America Stadium at the intersection of Mint and Graham Streets.

Festivities begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday andĀ face painters, balloon artists, photo booths and food trucks will all be on hand. Guests of honor include Ron Rivera, Sir Purr and Santa Claus.

Expect performances from the TopCats, PurrCussion and choral groups.

Christmas sweaters and Santa hats are very much encouraged.

The event is free of charge, but because thousands of fans turned out last year, it’s recommended you RSVP on Facebook.
