The first article I ever wrote for the Axios Charlotte was about 300 South Tryon.
Since then we have seen the project go from a 50-foot hole in the ground to a towering monster 450+ feet above the street.
As glass is going up on both the office tower and the hotel it is becoming more and more of a reality.

I took a tour of construction and it is just awe inspiring. The spaces are just massive. High ceilings everywhere and an extreme level of detail on nearly everything.
The facade of the hotel is lined with lights that will create a dramatic lighting effect.
The linear park helps the project integrate to the area.

There will be a “sunken” patio on 3rd street for the restaurant that will really give the pedestrian experience a NYC feel.

The office space will be beautiful and the pedestrian experience of the entire project is dramatically better than a lot of other projects that have been built around town.
Nothing seems value engineered here and the materials are top notch.
The rooftop bar is beyond words and I have no doubt it will be one of the best spaces in town.
It is so well thought out and it will provide year round rooftop bar vibes and will be an enormous asset to Third Ward.
