The developers of Waverly at Providence Road and Ardrey Kell have been signing high profile retail tenants left and right over the past year.
Chuy’s is the most recent example, but others include Whole Foods, Bad Daddy’s and Viva Chicken. The first tenants could open as soon as this fall.
The 90-acre project will ultimately include a hotel, apartments, townhomes and office space. It’s a joint venture between Childress Klein, Crosland Southeast and the Matthews family (who have owned it since 1860).

Now office space is getting underway.
Called “The Hub,” the first building under construction now will be six stories and 154,000 square feet. A second corporate office building will be built later. No tenants have been announced.
The office building should be complete by May.
