Pure Body Fitness has big plans for 2017.
The gym, currently located in Atherton Mill, will relocate to a 17,000-square-foot facility at 3609 South Boulevard in the spring of next year.
“We will definitely miss Atherton Mill and the relationships we’ve built here,” said Pure Body Charlotte’s general manager Jacoby Davis.
But creating a visible street front footprint a mile down the road, he says, is a great opportunity that will allow them to grow their offerings.
They’ll be adding new services and expanding others.
Pure Body is currently a program-centric facility with 98% of clients utilizing the space almost exclusively for group fitness classes—yoga, TRX, cycle—rather than for self-guided open gym workouts. According to Davis, they’ll shift to better accommodate a more comprehensive open gym concept, adding 30 new strength training and cardio pieces for individualized workouts.
But they’ll also be ramping up their existing group fitness classes. An expanded TRX facility will include more advanced training methods like the Rip Trainer and they’ll be focusing on a “more energetic and data-driven atmosphere” for the cycling class.
By popular demand, they’ll be adding a childcare option.
