Overview:
Lowe’s Physical Experience Designer helps develop and deliver the physical components of brilliant customer experiences. Grounded in the tools and methods of service design, you will contribute to the distilling and synthesizing customer insights into meaningful artifacts that offer up a truly integrated, omni-channel experience. The work will involve supporting the design of layouts, displays, display furniture, endcaps, lighting, kiosks, POS, signage, wayfinding, and more. You will work collaboratively with other disciplines within Customer Experience Design (CXD: Design Research, Human Experience Design, Digital Experience Design and Business Design) as well as our key project stakeholders, to deliver on Lowe’s purpose: “to help people love where they live”.
Successful design concepts will elevate the overall quality of the in-store experience, while meeting cost, schedule, and operational requirements. Acting as a liaison to development partners, the Physical Experience Designer ensures coherence between what is conceived and what is executed.
