Coaltrane’s is the newest place from the guys behind such great places as Flight, Pint Central and Libretto’s and is set to bring simplicity and some unique flavor to the EpiCentre.
Taking over the old IOS Greek Kitchen space — by Mortimer’s & Red Eye Diner — this char grill style restaurant will be focused focused on being simple, yet creative with an emphasis on rotisserie style meats.
Argentinian flavors will be a big part of the flavor palate of the menu, which will consists of rotisserie meats, sandwiches (like pulled chicken and churipan) and some great sides — roasted fingerling potatoes and grilled corn on the cob. The stuffed avocado (rice, black beans, corn and queso fresca) will be a sure fire hit and it may be dangerous to my eating habits.
Coaltrane’s looks to target both the lunch and dinner crowd by catering to the need of a simple, affordable meal that tastes fantastic.
Adding another non-chain to the Epicentre is great for its mix and look for this place to open early July.
