What in the world is a Tuk-tuk?
It’s an energy-efficient electric cart out of which Viva Raw is now selling their organic and vegan juices, smoothies, granola and vegan cheeses. Owner Scott Harris decided against opening a new storefront location and opted instead for this mobile cart.
Imported from Thailand, this Tuk-tuk cost Harris half of what it would’ve cost to open up a second store.
It takes about 5 hours to charge up while it sleeps in the 7th Street Station parking deck and while in transport from location to location, it maxes out at about 25mph.
While the tuk-tuk can’t hold quite as many options as the Viva Raw store, it’s stocked to the brim with its most popular products, most notably the Green Harvest juice.
The Tuk-tuk can be found at different locations at various times throughout the week. You can find its full schedule here.
