
Each year, Duke’s Coach K has a fantasy basketball camp for adults called the K Academy. It’s described as “America’s number one college basketball fantasy camp. Now in its tenth year, K Academy will once again bring team-building techniques into an once-in-a-lifetime experience for the ultimate Duke or college basketball fan.”
Red Ventures CMO Dan Feldstein participated in the camp and draining a 3-point shot with 0 seconds left on the clock. Boom. You da man Dan!
Facts about Dan & the the K Academy
- Dan is the CMO and co-founder at Red Ventures. He focuses on “new marketing, new business incubation and launch, and marketing innovation.”
- Dan built a SAT prep course software program in High School. Nerdy, we love it.
- Dan did his undergrad work at Duke and received his MBA from UPenn’s Wharton Business School.
- Dan started his career as a consultant at Bain & Co.
- K Academy is 5 days and 4 nights. All campers must be over the age of 35. Cost is $10,000.
- K Academy takes place at the famous Cameron Indoor Stadium and campers stay at The Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club (4 star resort).
- K Academy only takes 80 participants and runs from Wednesday May 30th to Sunday afternoon, June 3rd.
