Kid Cashew craft cocktails = so hot right now.
This eight-week-old Dilworth hotspot is gaining momentum and has big dawg Charlotte restaurateurs behind it — Martin Sprock (the man behind RuRu’s, Leroy Fox and Ios Greek Kitchen) and Giorgio Bakatsias, of Georges Brasserie (and 11 other restaurants in 5 cities).
I needed to go try some cocktails.
I chit chatted with bartender Josh Moore who had just moved here from Wilmington, where he tended bar at places like Figure Eight Island Yacht Club.
I asked Josh, “What are the three most popular cocktails at Kid Cashew, right now?”
He responded…
Three most popular Kid Cashew cocktails:
- #1 – Goat’s Breast Milk, $8 or $30 for a carafe (center) – ouzo, amaretto, honey, fresh lemon, mint
- #2 – Cilantro, $10 (right) – tequila, triple sec, cucumber, jalapeno, lime
- #3 – Rosemary, $10 (left) – vodka, fresh lemon, bitters, soda
Signature craft cocktail list:
Kid Cashew is cozy with low ceilings, 100-year-old wood floors and exposed beams.
They’ve got about a dozen seats at the bar, high top tables along the windows, booths on the opposite wall and a large communal 24-seat table in the center that commands attention.
Oh, and the patio is killing it with this weather…

The food menu is made up of small plates designed for sampling and sharing.
I recommend you wash down the cocktails with the all natural local chicken ($8.50 for half, $16 for whole).
