There’s a new center of development in Ballantyne right now.
And it appears to be the stretch of Community House Road between Ballantyne Commons Parkway and Providence Road West. The whole stretch is torn up and full of construction.
The biggest thing is probably Solis Ballantyne.
This is a 194-unit community from Terwilliger Pappas that should be complete by the end of the year. The Solis brand is already in Dilworth and SouthPark and more are planned for the Waverly development and South Boulevard.

But there are several other projects as well.
David Weekly Homes just won approval for a rezoning that will allow for a 15-acre gated community right off Community House. There will be a handful of new houses by the Ballantyne Country Club and then 87 more homes (mix of single-family and townhomes).
One other big thing of note: The city of Charlotte has big plans for the road itself. Look for roundabouts, more sidewalks, landscaping and lighting.
