If you haven’t been to Snug Harbor on a Wednesday night, or ever — go, go, go. (1) The Residency is great. (2) It’s starting to get warmer (Maybe not. I don’t know anymore), and Snug has one of the most underrated outdoor areas behind it in Charlotte. Check out some live music, and while you’re at it, grab a beer in the back.

Times listed are when the show is scheduled to start, not when the doors are opened. Unless listed otherwise, prices are before taxes and fees.

Agenda Picks

  • 3/23/16: Serfs, It Looks Sad., Blanket Fort, Em Young; Snug Harbor, 10 p.m., free. Catch Serfs and friends at Snug Harbor’s March Residency, one of the better recurring music events in Charlotte. Serfs’ spacey, airy vocals and guitars headline the free show.

  • 3/25/16: The David Mayfield Parade, Evening Muse, 8 p.m., $12-$14 (tickets). David Mayfield has performed all over the U.S., and has shared the stage with The Avett Brothers and Mumford & Sons. And for good reason. His ability to tell stories through his passionate playing and singing, and all with a hint of comedy, sets him apart from other musicians.
