Where the position is located: 
• Charlotte, North Carolina

What you will do:
• Facilitate business requirement gathering and definition through various methods including joint collaboration sessions with business and IT, targeted Q&A sessions with multiple Subject Mater Experts, and one-on-one user interviews to provide solutions that meet business and user needs.
• Translate high level business requirements into detailed functional specifications and manage changes to specifications.
• Prepare documents such as business and functional requirement documents, user stories, use cases, use case models, gap analysis, current and proposed process flows, workflows, and data flows.
• Analyze and interpret business requirements and perform current, target, gap and impact analyses.
• Apply a broad knowledge of various business processes, functions and technical expertise to accurately anticipate organizational impacts.
• Negotiate deliverables by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation.
• Follow rigorous SDLC and project management best practices, comply with internal Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and other compliance-related processes and adhere to change control and problem management procedures.

How you are qualified:
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and logic skills.
• Aptitude to learn new concepts and terminology quickly
• Minimum 5 years of business analysis experience.
• 3+ years of experience leading and negotiating business solutions through collaborative discussions with business and IT partners.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Defined Contribution retirement plans, services and recordkeeping.
• Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
