Hello Thursday.
I drank 2 Cucumber Collins cocktails yesterday evening during a strategy session with Katie at The Summit Room. I wish they cost $4 instead of $11. Katie is heading to Quail Hollow for the golf tourney today and she seriously asked “What do I wear? I don’t own anything khaki.” She followed it up with “Do people where hats?” Unbelievable. I hardly own anything that’s not khaki. Let’s hope she doesn’t get kicked out of the media tent for dressing weird. Anyways.

My naivete led me to believe the path from Johnson and Wales culinary school to becoming a celebrity chef like Rocco Whalen at Fahrenheit was simple. Wrong. Vanessa drops some knowledge.

TALKING POINTS
Bank of America drops Lincoln Harris, doubles down on CBRE and JLL for real estate services.
CBJ reports that hundreds of Bank of America employees will transition over to these firms. Look out for increased networking coffees at the Caribou Coffee in Founders Hall.
Webb Simpson may be Charlotte’s favorite local PGA tour golfer, but eatings wings with Jason Kokrak sounds fun. Observer reports that Kokrak enjoys Midwood Smokehouse, wings at Moosehead and drives a 1969 Camaro SS. The fact that he’s had wings at Moosehead gives him some serious CLT street cred.
Coming Soon: Cinnaholic gourmet vegan cinnamon rolls. Date TBD. Rolls are $5-$6 each and you choose from 29 icing flavors. Agenda Briefing.
