You know that feeling you get when you’ve binge watched a entire series on Netflix and it’s getting super close to the last episode and your heart starts to sink? You can’t imagine watching anything else because you’ve invested so much time into the lives of the precious fictional characters.
And you think, what have I been doing for the past seven hours…weeks…months?
Why don’t I have plans or a life?
That’s what being single on Valentine’s Day feels like. You were totally happy (blissfully ignorant) until everybody is randomly in love all around you. Tragic. So instead of swiping on Tinder or searching the local dump to find your ex, put on your cutest outfit (yeah… that one) and fall in love with yourself this V-day.
Dress it up
I’ll be the first to admit that I sometimes forget the Mint Museum exists. If you’re like me, you probably had no clue that the current exhibit is Viva Moschino! Yes, the Rihanna, Katy Perry, Michelle Obama Moschino.
Text your crew and get your fashionista on. Admission is free on Wednesday, which means you can visit the special exhibits for next to nothing. Which means you’re saving money and you know what that means… Shopping, anyone?
When: Anytime really but let’s set a date for Wednesday, February 10 at 7:30 p.m.

Get classy
I’ve been over the legal drinking age for quite sometime but I still feel super sophisticated whenever I drink wine. Corkbuzz is hosting a wine and chocolate pairing class where you can learn and drink at the same time. I really shouldn’t need to convince you on this one; it’s wine AND chocolate. Enough said.
When: Saturday, February 13 at 2 p.m.

Turn up with Cupid
If you’re new here you’ve probably noticed that Charlotte has a bar crawl for everything. Valentine’s Day is no different. There is something magical about bar hopping with hundreds of your closest friends. The “Cuddle You So Hard” crawl is like the warmup for the epic St. Patty’s Day crawl. A pre-game if you will. Plus, you don’t have to worry about finding the perfect outfit because you get a really cute T-shirt with your wristband. If you haven’t made at least 12 new best friends by the end of the night, you’re doing it wrong.
When: Saturday, February 13 at 7 p.m.
Tickets here.

Rage on Sunday
Listen, Kid Cudi is everything. Who would want to be on an forced date awkwardly eating salad when you could be crowd surfing? This concert should be epic and I’ll be there so… win-win. Come find me and I’ll sprinkle some glitter on you. I carry glitter — who doesn’t?
When: Sunday, February 14 at 8 p.m.
Tickets here.

If all else fails, stay at home and watch Hitch on repeat. Add ice cream and sweats. Happy Galentine’s Day!
