Full-time, Administrative Office
Duties:
• Provides in-services and trainings as appropriate in compliance, OSHA and safety related topics
• Manages TB testing program as well as administration of vaccines for the corporation to include Radiologists, PAs and employees (initial and ongoing)
• Annually audit and monitor logs for crash carts and first aid kits in the outpatient facilities
• Annually audit and monitor moderate sedation logs and outpatient site medication
• Audit medical records to ensure documentation is in place (orders, reports etc.)
• Maintain a radiation-protected environment for the corporation
• Work with outpatient Assistant Directors and operations to ensure facilities are compliant with medical related OSHA requirements
• Oversight and management of the Charlotte Radiology Safety, Nursing and Forms and Policy Committees
• Work directly with operations to ensure consistent processes are in place system wide
• Manage and maintain employee and physician BBP exposure process, flu administration and infectious disease testing to include relationship with testing entity
• Oversight, maintenance, follow up and investigation of all employee related incident reports and OSHA reporting
• Develop, review and disseminate policies and procedures for safety, clinical and various compliance items
• Maintain professional competencies as appropriate
• Research and keep abreast of Federal, State, Nursing, Safety updates and changes in protocols and policies
• Manage the training documentation for new and existing nursing staff
• Oversight and auditing of the clinical mock drills and inspections
• Oversight and maintenance of the MSDS system
• Comply with organizational procedures, protocols and NC medical board standards.
• Oversight of clinical nursing compliance
• Provide a high level of customer service
• Various duties as they arise
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of healthcare experience as a licensed RN – exposure to clinical, Quality, Risk Management and/or Compliance
• Radiology experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of clinical safety and regulatory protocols and procedures
• Ability to adapt to new and various situations
• Ability to interpret, research, and communicate information and data to ensure adherence to board and regulatory policy and procedure
