Sales Manager
ClosetsbyDesign is a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems. We design, manufacture, and install a complete line of custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall-beds, garage cabinetry and more. We are currently looking to add an Installation Supervisor/ Manager to our team. The ideal candidate for this position is an enthusiastic, motivated individual who has experience in cabinetry or construction and is adept at multi-tasking.
Overview:
As Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our sales professionals and the growth of our business. You will lead, motivate, and guide a team of commission-based sales representatives to achieve sales targets while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• Team Leadership: Manage a team of commission-based sales professionals, providing coaching and mentoring to help them reach their full potential
• Negotiation: Assist in the negotiation of pending deals with clients and assist in closing the sale
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies, tactics, and sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets
• Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate the performance of sales team members, providing regular feedback, setting goals, and implementing improvement plans as needed
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing excellent customer service
• Sales Training: Provide ongoing sales training and development to the team, keeping them updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and sales techniques
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement to drive continuous sales growth
• Market Research: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth
• Budget Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively within the sales department to optimize results within budget constraints
Qualifications:
• Proven track record in sales, with experience in home improvement or related industries preferred
• Minimum 5 years of direct sales experience, and 2-5 years of sales management experience with proven track record
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Ability to analyze data, make data-driven decisions, and report on sales performance
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while also fostering a collaborative team environment
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is a plus
