Sales Associate

Overview:
We are looking for a result-driven retail Sales Associate to be responsible for a variety of tasks including sales, marketing tasks, and general store upkeep. All candidates must have a true interest in design, customer service and a desire to learn a variety of product lines. The ability to multi-task is critical. This is a small business and you will have a hand in every aspect.

Responsibilities:
• Opening and closing of store daily
• Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
• Assess customer’s needs and provide assistance and information on product features
• Administrative tasks including orders, RGAs, and customer follow up
• Physical tasks like receiving deliveries and organizing orders

Qualifications:
• Retail sales experience
• Proven interest in the design industry
• College degree required – preferably in design
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Proficiency in English
• Basic math skills
• Organizational skills
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• A friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Must be available 3 Saturdays per month
• Good sense of humor
