Front Office Coordinator
Overview:
Trinity Episcopal School seeks a Front Office Coordinator responsible for providing efficient, supportive service and setting a welcoming and positive environment for all who enter the school. The Front Office Coordinator will assist the general Trinity community and visitors by greeting people, managing the delivery of packages, and providing support with administrative tasks. This full-time position is 10 months, 40 hours a week. The Front Office Coordinator supports the work of the School by promoting the mission, values, and policies of Trinity Episcopal School.
Primary responsibilities:
Front office and reception
• Receive students, visitors, guests, faculty, and staff in a friendly, courteous manner, and be aware that her/his demeanor is a reflection of the School as a welcoming and inclusive community
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of desk, front office area, and lobby
• Ensure security by directing campus visitors to sign in/out and wear a visitor badge
• Prioritize job duties with an awareness of being present at the front desk as a top priority
• Answer incoming calls to the School and direct callers to the appropriate personnel
• Answer questions regarding school events or other business
• Create event reminders on sandwich board sign
• Filter solicitations
• Take messages when necessary and deliver them in a timely manner
• Adapt to circumstances that arise with a calm respectful demeanor
Administrative
• Open and distribute mail
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Greet prospective families warmly and in a timely manner when they enter the school and ensure that they are comfortable and clear about the agenda for their visit
• Inform the admission team promptly when they have a visitor
The successful candidate will have the following qualities:

• A love for students and a willingness to go above and beyond in the best interests of students
• Integrity, sound judgment, self-confidence, maturity, and a sense of perspective
• A high level of energy and ability to work on multiple tasks/projects
• Ability to model, promote, and provide opportunities for students to live into the Trinity Honor Code
• Demonstrate sensitivity to students, faculty, and staff of varying racial, ethnic, religious, gender, cultural, disability, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic backgrounds
Education and work experience:
• High School diploma or Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
• Personable, warm, and welcoming with a desire to build relationships
• Ability to be flexible and work as part of a TEAM
• Show discretion and sensitivity to confidentiality
• Strong communication and organizational skills
Skills and qualifications:
Technology skills
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
