High End Sales Consultant
Overview:
The High-End Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in our retail team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales in our upscale furniture and home decor store. We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual with a proven track record in high-end retail sales. This role requires a customer-centric mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
• Create a welcoming and personalized environment by warmly greeting and engaging customers in a professional and courteous manner. Take the initiative to understand their unique furniture and home decor needs and provide tailored assistance
• Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of our high-end product offerings, including their features, benefits, and pricing. Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate this information to customers, highlighting the value and quality of our products
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their preferences, lifestyle, and budget. Utilize this knowledge to provide personalized recommendations on luxury furniture and home decor items that meet their specific requirements
• Clearly and accurately convey product information, promotions, and warranty details to customers, ensuring transparency and trust. Answer any inquiries and address concerns promptly and professionally
• Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately, utilizing our POS system with precision. Handle cash transactions securely and maintain the integrity of the cash register. Follow all cash handling and loss prevention procedures
• Maintain an impeccably presented sales floor by regularly restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the store. Proactively identify any maintenance or merchandising needs and promptly address them
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve individual and store sales targets. Share best practices, contribute to team meetings, and actively participate in training and development opportunities to enhance sales skills
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Continuously expand knowledge of our product offerings, luxury design trends, and the latest innovations in the home decor industry. Leverage this knowledge to provide a superior customer experience
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional education or certification in sales or customer service is a plus
• Proven track record in high-end retail sales, preferably within the furniture or home decor industry. Provide quantifiable achievements and examples of successful sales performance
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish lasting relationships with customers. Active listening skills and the ability to understand and address customer needs effectively
• Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a strong work ethic and a drive to achieve sales targets. Proactively seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
• Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and move furniture or home decor items as needed, adhering to safety guidelines
• Proficiency in basic math skills, including cash handling and POS transactions. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions
• Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation abilities, with a focus on resolving customer concerns and ensuring their satisfaction. Display a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to think on your feet
• Passion for interior design and staying up to date with the latest home decor trends. Display a genuine enthusiasm for luxury aesthetics and an ability to inspire customers with your knowledge and passion
