Lumaverse Technologies is seeking a Staff Accountant to help drive Lumaverse’s growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, can multi-task, and enjoys working with various teams.

Responsibilities:
• Collect mail and enter daily cash deposits and credit card settlements by working hybrid at our W. Morehead Street headquarters in Charlotte
• Generate customer invoices and manage accounts receivables
• Prepare accounts payable and disbursements
• Enter and reconcile credit card activity
• Reconcile bank accounts
• Record and reconcile fixed asset accounts
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
• Maintain vendor, customer, and other files
• Assist with special projects as required

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related industry experience
• 1 – 2 years experience in a similar role
• Previous experience with daily accounting activities and reconciliations
• Familiarity with GAAP
• CPA preferred but not required
• NetSuite experience a plus
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent mathematical skills

• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and processes in simple terms
