The Agency, founded by Real Housewives’s Mauricio Umansky, will debut its first North Carolina location in Charlotte.
Why it matters: Popular real estate brokers like Umansky are recognizing Charlotte’s rapid growth, and they’re capitalizing on it.
- In 2022, Selling Tampa’s Allure Realty expanded to the Carolinas to serve Mecklenburg and its 18 surrounding counties.
Context: Umansky appears on the Netflix show “Buying Beverly Hills” with his daughters. You might also recognize him from “Real Housewives Beverly Hills.”
What’s happening: Real estate agent Erika Mendoza, whom you may recognize from The American Dream TV series “Selling Charlotte,” will lead the new local office with local real estate agent Abigail Hines Miller as its managing partners, she tells Axios.
- Mendoza and Miller will oversee a team of seven real estate agents.
- “We were agents for several years so we’re well aware of what’s been missing on a firm level,” Mendoza said.
Details: The office opened Tuesday, June 27. It’s located at 3540 Toringdon Way in Ballantyne.
What’s next: The Agency will serve the greater Charlotte area and has plans to open a Lake Norman office next year.
- There are currently no available listings, but they will soon have 10 listings here.
