Lower School, Foreign Language (French) Part-time Instructor, 2023-2024

Essential functions:
• Create engaging, high-quality French lessons JK-4 and implement small and whole group language instruction for students
• Assess and record student progress in the language, including completing report cards
• Maintain good communication with families about their child’s progress and about classroom events
• Be a positive, collaborative member of the Modern Language Team
• Perform additional duties (carpool, bus, etc.) as assigned for your particular role

Requirements and qualifications:
• Elementary education and/or language degree and experience preferred
• Fluent in technology
• Demonstrated love for children and an understanding of child development
• Interpersonal skills
• Time management skills

Physical requirements and work environment:
• May have extended times of standing and or walking around campus
• Work primarily in a traditional climate-controlled classroom environment
• Work intermittently in outside weather conditions
