Chef Michael Bowling is expanding his popular food truck Hot Box Next Level Kitchen to a ghost kitchen in South End.
The new spot, called “HBX Burgers,” will open at South End Eats on Thursday, May 18.
Details: Expect pub-style burgers, meaning beef patties on griddled brioche buns.
- The menu will have five burgers, plus wings, wraps and salads.
- Burgers will start around $14, wing trays $14, $5 for sides and $8 for appetizers.
- Orders will be available for pickup or delivery via Door Dash, Grub Hub and Uber Eats.
“My POV on burgers is simple, deliver on flavor and fill bellies,” Bowling said in a statement.
Context: Hot Box Next Level Kitchen started as a food truck in 2012. You can currently find it inside Southern Strain Brewing in Concord.
- South End Eats is a ghost kitchen located at 500 Summit Ave., where local chefs can experiment with food concepts without having to open a full-blown restaurant.
