Charlotte live music fans, here’s a quick list of the 10 biggest concerts coming to Charlotte in May.

Other upcoming notable shows include Citizen Cope at Neighborhood Theatre (May 6), The Flaming Lips at the Fillmore (May 8) and Natalia Jiménez at the Fillmore (May 13). May 5: The Fritz, Quentin Talley & The Soul Providers

Two NC bands join forces for a night of funk and soul at the classic Plaza spot.

May 12-13: North Carolina Brewers and Music Festival

Steep Canyon Rangers, Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, 49 Winchester, SUSTO and Lilly Hiatt headline this year’s lineup at the Huntersville festival.

Frute and The Mountain Grass Unit perform at Suffolk Punch Brewing to raise money to support mental health and suicide awareness throughout the Southeast.

May 22: BAND-MAID

The all-female heavy rock outfit from Japan celebrates its 10th anniversary with a visit to the Fillmore’s sister venue.

The Hayley Williams-led rock band released its first album in nearly six years, This Is Why, in February.
