Licensed HVAC Professional
Overview:
Piedmont Facility Services is currently seeking an experienced and licensed HVAC professional to lead our HVAC division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the division, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
What you’ll do:
• Oversee all aspects of the HVAC division, including project management, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control
• Manage and mentor a team of HVAC technicians, ensuring they are trained and certified to perform their job duties effectively
• Work closely with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of projects, including coordination with electrical and or plumbing teams
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the HVAC division
• Monitor and report on the progress of projects to the senior management team
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors, ensuring their satisfaction with the services provided by the HVAC division
What you’ll need:
• Current and valid H3-1 NC Mechanical HVAC license
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential HVAC installation and repair
• Previous experience in HVAC lead roles and/or management roles
• Thorough and current knowledge of local/state codes and permitting requirements
• Proven track record of successfully managing HVAC projects from start to finish
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Experience with project management software and tools
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
