FDS is a private, independent, non-denominational school that was established in 2017. We serve students in grades K-5 and are growing each year. With that, the need for highly qualified and dynamic educators has also grown.

FDS focuses on academic rigor, STEM education and the Arts – most notably, Suzuki Violin at all grade levels. The Creative Arts – Visual Arts, Spanish, Mindfulness, Physical Education and Scholar TV Mega Values – round out how FDS prepares the whole child for service to humanity and to participate in a global society.

Requirements and qualifications:
• Valid state teaching license in K-5 education is preferred
• Effective classroom management skills
• Implements current best practices for instruction
• Is a team player
• Knows how to use student assessment data to inform instruction
• Technology literate or willing to learn the necessary technology that supports the curricula

Administrative secretary job qualifications:
This role will report directly to the Head of School and provide procedural, operational, and academic coordination duties that include, but are not limited to:
• Maintain an organized filing and data system
• Create online student profiles and manage our FACTS database system
• Discuss and mantain financial records for tuition accounts
• Prepare documents, maintain schedules and support teaching staff
• Order classroom supplies and prepare check requests
• Complete routine clerical and organizational tasks
• Answer telephones and emails of parents and other school staff
• Assist with marketing initiatives of the school
• Lead the onboarding process for new scholar enrollments
• Ideal candidates have experience as an administrative or financial secretary. Customer service skills are of the utmost importance in our environment

Qualifications:
• Exhibit passion for innovative engagement
• Possess enthusiasm for the uniqueness of the school
• Experience with Google Docs, Excel and Word
• Top tier organizational skills and ability to multitask

Compensation, bonus and benefits:
A competitive salary of $45,000+ and comprehensive benefits is available for full time employees. Additional paid supplemental insurance is available (dental and vision) . A yearly performance bonus can be earned. Signing bonuses will also be offered! Come join our team!
