Event Management Apprentice
Best Impressions Caterers is a full-service hospitality company specializing in catering services in Charlotte.
Overview:
Our Event Management Apprentice will be learning from some of the most experienced event managers in Charlotte. They will be assisting these managers during events and also learning how to manage their own venues and teams.
What you will be doing:
• Assist and support the catering & event team with all aspects of the event process including event inquiries, proposals and contracts, diagram creation, rental orders, signage creation, event errands and sales materials
• Set up events at our numerous locations
• Provide great customer service during all the events
• Learn how to manage a team from 5 to 40 staff
• Serves as event staff ensuring we are executing events by exceeding our client’s expectations

The successful candidate will be highly organized, with a people-oriented approach and great organizational skills. He/she will have:
• Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred
• Technical skills with Google Drive, Microsoft Office and/or Google Sheets/Docs
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
• Team Player – must be willing to pitch in and help wherever necessary
• Strong work ethic and reliable
• Ability to work in the office in South End area
• Willingness to work events on nights, weekends and holidays as needed
