Lower School Business Coordinator

Essential functions:
Financial
• Maintain Lower School budget spreadsheet
• Communicate budgetary updates regularly to Head of Lower School
• Send monthly budget updates to grade level coordinators, special area coordinator, and others who manage budgets
• Work closely with business office to ensure that invoices are coded, signed, scanned into assigned account, and returned to business office for payment
• Print parts of Accounts Receivable ledger from the business office that are relevant to Lower School and check off corresponding expenses
• Create petty cash check requests and checks for Lower School
• Complete monthly petty cash reconciliation reports
• Reconcile credit card payments made on Lower School issued credit cards
• Use WORKS to complete Visa statements
Administrative
• Collect attendance from Veracross daily
• Export attendance into Excel spreadsheet daily and send out to Lower School faculty and staff members
• Place orders for all classroom supplies needed in Lower School
• Place orders for all curriculum materials, including textbooks, subscriptions, etc.
• Manage reimbursements and bookings for faculty workshops and travel
• Work closely with Lower School administration, input class rosters and student schedules into Veracross
• Other duties as assigned

Education, experience and skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field
• Proficient in Veracross (or other data management systems) and Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Detail-oriented
