Overview:
• $48,000 per year or $23/hr
• Minimum 39 hours per week at AP
• Additional community promoting hours throughout the year (bars, dog events,etc)
• Three weeks paid vacation (coordinate with Janie and have schedule covered)
• This job involves getting wet, lifting and exercise daily. You must be able to lift 40lbs. Taller people (over 5’7”) get less wet.

Responsibilities:
• Health and happiness of all pets in the facility
• Exemplary customer service
• Utilize our reception and employees as needed.
• Manage phones and schedule and perform introductory swims
• Assess dog behavior and health for group or private swim or if physical therapy at Healing Pups will be needed first
• Pool testing and water chemistry oversee
• Shop for and purchase supplies within budget
• Pool equipment maintenance
• Cleanliness of facility
• Maintain retail, pool equipment, life vests etc
• Scheduling of employees
• Hire and train pool employees
• Create protocols for AquaPups tasks
• Create AquaPups policy manual and mission statement
• Should employee not show you are responsible for finding coverage
• Employees should text you upon arrival
• Employees should notify you if unable to work

Help create, organize and promote classes at AquaPups:
• Puppy socialization class (4 weeks)
• Puppy swim class (4 weeks)
• Create a group text for owners that would like their pet to have company to group swim
• Organize, schedule,plan and provide birthday celebrations (any staff can work them)
• Oversee memberships and billing
• Oversee vaccine requirements
• Enforce rules and regs for pool
• Coordinate vet visits with swim/groom services
• Social media content
• Promote aqua pups in community
• Community outreach (news, events etc)
• Billing monthly
• Monthly reports for accountant
