Warehouse Inventory Specialist

This position on the Rose Gold Rebel team requires an analytical and data driven mindset in order to keep track of all the various SKU’s that we order and keep in stock. The warehouse inventory specialist will be in charge of ordering and keeping accurate/up-to-date counts of inventory as well as receiving and organizing the inventory as it comes in. They will also assist in forecasting data to stay ahead of sales in key SKU’s. Success will be measured by the efficiency demonstrated in ordering and managing the warehouse’s inventory to ensure a steady stream of blanks for production.
What you will do/More about this position:
• Order blanks every M/W/F for orders placed since the last order date
• Maintain inventory counts (whiteboards and excel are used for different SKU management systems)
• Unbox inventory as it arrives and keep organized on shelves for different order/ship-by dates
• Inspect and make claims for damaged inventory upon arrival
• Pull backstock inventory for production staff
• Keep the backstock inventory library organized
• Conduct regular audits of inventory/order shelves
• Seek out and implement new strategies for warehouse inventory management
• Assist with forecasting data for ordering backstock inventory to stay ahead of production
• Manage SKU’s on the backend of our sites based on stock availability
• Pay is $33,000-$37,000/year salary and this would be a full-time position with RGR

Requirements:
• 2 or 4 year college degree is preferred (business, STEM degree, economics, logistics, etc.)
• Experience may include working as an operations manager, stockroom manager, logistics specialist, in retail, etc.
• Able to use both Windows and Mac OS
• Enter data efficiently into spreadsheets and perform intermediate level functions to manage and present the data
• Organization and neatness are a must to manage backstock and accurately check-in new inventory
• Work is conducted in a team atmosphere, so this person must be able to communicate effectively with their peers regarding inventory and how those relate to the orders
• A clean legal record and be willing to undergo a background check prior to employment

Physical demands:
• Capable of physical movements requiring the use of legs, wrists, hands and/or fingers including kneeling and bending
• Repetitive arm and wrist use. Frequent and repetitive movements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to be on the feet standing/walking up to 6 hours per day
• Comfortable working around sharp objects like box-cutters
