Overview:
The Marketing & Sales Manager will focus on digital marketing (B2B and B2C) and direct sales (B2B). Working closely with the Director of Marketing and Director of B2B Sales, this key team member will lead email marketing efforts, support our social media planning & execution, and support growth through outreach and engagement with current and prospective clients. This person will have a voice and influence in our business.

We’re looking for someone with a passion for marketing and sales technology and the ability to use a variety of tools to connect and engage with our target audiences. Proficiency with CRMs, marketing automation and e-commerce platforms is a plus. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of the buying journey – understanding that we don’t simply use communication to inform, but to drive specific action.

This role will truly bridge both consumer & B2B, and marketing & sales, giving unique exposure to several channels and elements of the total business plan. The opportunity for growth and development in this role and with our company is significant.

Responsibilities:

• Create and continuously improve email/marketing automation tools to (a) drive product education, lead qualification, engagement at events including trade shows, purchases, re-engagement, etc. with our B2B audience, and (b) reduce cart abandonment rate, stay top of mind with customers through product education and post-purchase re-engagement, support seasonal and promotional campaigns, etc. for our “retail” (e-commerce) consumer audience
• Maintain lead and opportunity information in CRM system
• Support the Sales Director by assisting with conversion (including occasional travel for vendor trade shows) and client follow-up
• Create and share regular reports on marketing campaigns, lead effectiveness, and opportunity pipeline conversion
• Collaborate to lead, develop, and execute social media content across our channels
• Collaborate on the creation of for high-impact campaigns with social influencers
• Incorporate MirrorMate’s brand voice and values in responding to customer/client reviews in a timely manner

Qualifications:
• 2+ years’ experience developing and executing email campaigns, with ability to demonstrate a track record of business improvement (e.g. sustained increase in revenue, higher engagement, more frequent repurchase, etc) from those campaigns
• Experience using a CRM for lead tracking, follow-up, triggered communications, and opportunity management
• Experience with an e-commerce platform, such as Shopify, Wix or Squarespace is a plus
• Experience with Google Analytics. Interest in experimenting with other analytic tools, and proactive approach to understanding and sharing insights to drive business decisions
• Experience developing and executing A/B tests, as well as evaluating results to drive future planning
• An understanding of other channels (social media, SEO, paid media) and how they interrelate with email marketing
• Familiarity with B2B inside sales
